Dear Dream Destinations,

Why are you taking so long to meet? I see you making me wait to test my patience level.

Let me tell you I have 85 places in my dream destinations, and I have only covered 9 places till now. Kodailkanal, Ooty, Mysore, Meghalaya, Jaipur, Matheran, Goa, Pondicherry, and Ranthambore. I have visited other places on work-related business or for such a short time that I cannot call it a trip.

India is full of places to explore, like Dehradun, Almora, Amritsar, Tawang, Belgaum, Mathura, and many more. Pankaj Tripathi sir, in one of his interviews, said traveling across India is very cheap and everyone, at least in their young days, should travel across India.

I did most places in solo before my marriage. But now it's a dream to visit remaining destinations with my better half and naughty little son.

We both have our favorite destinations abroad Japan is mine, and New Zealand is my better half's.

How did Japan become my favorite destination? Next to our neighborhood used to live Dipali Tai, with whom most of my childhood was spent. She was in Japan due to her husband's work, and sometimes we used to talk over video call. Her WhatsApp status used to fascinate me, and the favorite one was our childhood cartoon, Doraemon and Shinchan.

Digging in more about Japan, the cherry blossom festival fascinated me a lot. I then dreamt of visiting Japan once in my life and, if all goes well, then during the cherry blossom festival to experience its magic.

New Zealand became a dream destination for many Indian women, including my wife, thanks to the Bollywood movies shot there, especially the rom-coms of Sharukh Khan. The snowy mountains, extreme sports, Waitomo Caves, and many other places make New Zealand attractive to tourists across the world.

Managing leaves and finance does matter in planning travel to your dream destinations. This sometimes delays your visit, but it's worth it to go with proper planning.

One day will certainly turn all our dream destinations into reality. If you are single in your college or yet to start the job, even along with the job, please do explore places in India or your country and, if it persists, outside India as well.
