Amay had a good sleep last night. He decided to take a walk & grab morning tea from the roadside tea stall. Chai & Parle G is like an unbreakable bond.
After roaming around the streets of Shoja, he got freshen up & asked Zostel manager if any group is going to Raghupur fort. He said there is a group going to the fort this afternoon so, if you wanna join. Amay without a second thought confirmed his participation.
Travelling with a group of strangers is a different kind of experience. They don't judge you for what you are or what you do or what you have; You just enjoy that time with them being the true self.
Curvy roads, bright Sun and the cool breeze, a perfect weather to enjoy. Soon, they reached the starting point of the trek. They started treking towards the fort slowly, In starting, it was flat walk untill the breakstop came in half km.
5 minutes of the quick rest & then he started again. Amay started feling heavy breathing due to climbing. Every 100m, he was taking rest for few minutes and starting to climb again. Finally after 1hour 10mins, he reached the top though raghupur fort was still 200m away.
After 15 mins break & capturing some moments in mobile & camera, Amay decided to do overnight stay here over the mountain. After confirmation, he went ahead climbing the fort.
On reaching there, the view was amazing; the fort's wall were built by scattered stones. He found a perfect spot for capturing the sunset and the view from the corner spot of the fort.
He arranged his tripod & set his mobile for the timelapse capture putting mobile in the flight mode to avoid in the disturbance. In meantime, Amay just sat beside the setup and enjoyed the view - Sun ready to set for the day and the colour changing sky.
This moment was a peace of mind for Amay , the inner peace of mid. He pulled out his notebook & pen from the bag & started penning down -
Sukoon ki talash to kaafi dino se shuru thi,
Aaj in lamho me jaake khatam hui hai
Shant se baith kar, itne khubsurat lamhe ko
apne aankho se dekhna,
Bas yahi to wo sukoon hai
Jiski talaash me tha mein
Aaj wo talaash,
yaha khatam hui hai.
Sukoon ki Talaash Jo, kaafi dino se thi
Wo aaj, In lamho me khatam hui hai..
It was getting dark & the temperature was dropping rapidly. He had to wrap up & reach his tent soon to fight with this cold.
Cracked with a hot cup of tea, Amay was feeling warm & cozy inside the tent. It was Women's Word Cup finals today - India vs South Africa & luckily, his phone had a good network even at the top. He started streaming the match, enjoying with a plate of hot maggi.
Soon, the other fellow travellers joined him. They played Uno for sometime untill the dinner was served. While playing with them, Amay got to know they all are pilots working for Air India & one of them was associated with the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash. He was flying the same plane before the crash from Delhi to Ahmedabad.
Post dinner, they all sat near bonfire gossiping on random topics under the sky and flowing cold breeze. It was really getting chill & they all decided to go back to our tent.
Amay captured some of beautiful sky shots & then started watching Ind vs SA women's world cup again.
It was agood reason to sweet sleep for Amay; India's Women cricket team had won the World cup finals.

I love that you mentioned chai and maggi, no mountain story feels complete without them!
